about

Right on the buzzing square outside the main station of an Indian city lived a beggar. He sat, begged and slept in the same spot all his life. Everyone in town knew and loved this friendly man: he was a local celebrity.

When he died the people decided to bury him at that very place and build a tomb in his memory. When they were digging his grave, to their great surprise they discovered a khazana, an ancient treasure chest, full of diamonds and gold coins, right under the spot where he used to sit! They realized that he had been sitting on this treasure his whole life through. Had he only dug a little in the ground beneath him - he would have been a rich man! But, unaware of it, he remained a beggar! Let this parable and song remind us of our own undiscovered inner treasures - just a little digging and looking within - we have it all!
